We will be offering a few enclosures for all people to be able to see and watch. Full access will require a membership. This membership will give people access to all of our enclosures with multiple video angles to view all of our animals. This will also come with some short videos with us explaining some cool information/fun facts with many of the animals, along with a written-up curriculum and activities/resources for schools, libraries, and other educational institutes to be able to use for classes. There is an example below of light activity for Reindeer.

Meet the Reindeer
Living things are found all over Earth, but each is only able to live in habitats that meet its basic needs.
Reindeer don't fly, but they do sometimes have red noses. These animals are part of the deer family, or Cervidae, which includes deer, elk, moose and wapiti. Like others in their family, reindeer have long legs, hooves and antlers. Reindeer are also called caribou, depending on their location.
Focus Questions:
- Is this animal a mammal, reptile, or amphibian?
- How do you know?
- Is it invertebrate or vertebrate?
- (no backbone or backbone)
- Look at the above footprint. How does this help it move about?
- Where is this animal found in the world?
- What does it eat?
- What interesting facts have you learned?
Further activities:
Younger students can choose an animal and create a 3 division chart that show what it can do, what it has for features and descriptors of how it looks or behaves.
Older students can elaborate on the above and using mapping skills to locate where it is found, define its habitat, and how it has adapted to its present environment.
